We were killing time and did a search of parks nearby and found Helen's Garden. It is a beautiful little park. My 4 year old enjoyed looking at all the flowers and the water feature. They have shady areas too which was nice since it was so hot out. There are also bathrooms which was much appreciated. They were setting up for a small wedding too which was fun to watch. Definitely a pretty backdrop for a wedding and photos.

It's small but peaceful, calm, and contains settings perfect for portraits or photo drops. Named after Walter Hall's wife Helen, she loved her gardening and flowers which is evident at this tiny garden in League City.
You'll see a water fountain, a MERR sign (short for merry?) and some statue bust displays of Mr. Hall and Helen herself. It's clear they had some positive footprints on the League City area based on the information written on their bust displays.

This peaceful little park is located right in the heart of League City, right on 518. The grounds are always impeccable and kept very nicely. The flowers bloom beautifully during the spring & summer, so the park isn't as lush in the winter. There are lots of benches to take a break on and nice open grassy space to have a picnic or lay down on.
This is a great place for portraits (you will see people taking pics here daily) as well as great spot to bring your family & kiddos. It's also a great spot for small wedding ceremonies! My only complaints are the lack of shade- the park is very open with little shaded areas and the closeness to the busy road. Although there is a short fence surrounding the park, keep an eye on the kiddos as 518 is an extremely busy road and cars tend to fly by.

A beautiful and calming park for a best solace retreat.
Be alarmed by enchanting sounds of birds chirpping, the fountain splashing, branches flowing together, and unpleasant reminder motorist driving along busy 518.
Beep, beep their horns sound, the rambling of their engines and the squealing of the brake pads rubbing together.. oh how so delightful.
A waterfall off the rock formation only below a sign that read "no swimming".
Nicely stained benches and patterned bricks line the walkway for all the comers and goers.
Once which is and now.. just a memory of remembance. Lots of folige a tiny birdhouse with a tiny entrance. Leaves falling.. brown, yellow, ripped, and dead.
Different shades of birds flying above visions of a silhouette and the smell of honeydew. Sweet oh sweet how it tasted.
A house, no a mansion in which occupied a flock of residents. High in the sky with an alike color of the clouds. Flowers.. shine of vibrant colors.
Only just a memory of remembrance. In this beautiful, but natural park. In memory of Helen to you.. a garden lies here for you.
The parking is looped with a few spaces.

So recently some friends from work were getting married and I told them I'd take some pictures for them.
They live in clearlake so I wanted to scout out parks in the area for a cool backdrop.
Lucky enough I found this cool little park. It has some interesting plants and a unique fountain.

This was a pretty cool small area.
we came here for a photo shoot.

It's a cute little park in league City. It's not too far from the Helen library. The park is small so there isn't much parking. Or even street parking

This small gem is a park of extraordinary beauty. The flower gardens, the roses, the stone paths, the fountains, the statuary, the iron fences. The overspreading ancient oaks. On nice weather weekends, there's always a wedding couple or two getting hitched or getting photographed. The park is right along side FM 518, but somehow the traffic noise doesn't seem to intrude the way I'd expect. Even when firetrucks scream by, somehow the peacefulness of the park seems to resist the clamor.
